The Baton Rouge Black Chamber of Commerce (BRBCC) was initially formed
as the North Baton Rouge Chamber of Commerce in April of 2004 in order
to “serve the underserved” African-American business community in the
metro-Baton Rouge area. It was established with the combined efforts of
Eric Lewis, Frank Brown, Marie Scantlebury, Morris Harris, Marcus Lewis,
and Tommy Cain as an organization focused on strengthening the
African-American businesses of the Baton Rouge region.
Today we have approximately 250 members and we are an affiliate of the
National Black Chamber of Commerce. |
